See how long your kitchen takes to plate each dish
A new Reports tab shows prep times by area and by dish, how they trend over time, and with Excel export —so you can spot the stations and dishes slowing down service.
A new Prep Times tab in Reports answers a simple question: how long did the dishes take to prepare? Your team doesn’t have to log anything new —we use the timestamps the kitchen already records when it sends each dish to preparation and marks it “ready”.
Three ways to see it
- By prep area: kitchen, bar, café, pastry. See at a glance which station is holding up service.
- By dish: your highest-volume items, ranked by time. Perfect for catching that popular dish that always runs slow.
- How it trends over time: a trend chart with the median and P90 by day or by month, so you can tell whether your kitchen is improving or falling behind during peak hours.
Numbers that actually help
For each area and dish you get the average, the median, the P90 (the time that covers 9 out of 10 dishes) and the max, along with how many dishes were measured. The median and P90 give you a more honest picture than a plain average, which a couple of outliers can skew.
And you can export it to Excel to review at your own pace or share with your team.
Data you can trust
We leave out cancelled orders and the ones the system force-closed, so they don’t inflate the times. And if the kitchen isn’t marking dishes as “ready”, we flag it with a clear notice —so you don’t mistake “not measured” for “served instantly”.
