SALES MODULE

The customer wants to pay ten dollars in cash, five thousand colones by SINPE Móvil, and the rest by card. Without shouting to the register "how much is left?". Without a calculator. Without arguing. You charge, you give change, you close.

  • Multi-method on a single ticket

    Cash, card, transfer, SINPE Móvil, and internal credit. Combine them in any proportion within the same check — the system keeps the running total.

  • Multi-currency, no calculator

    Colones, dollars, and other currencies on the same ticket. The USD exchange rate syncs daily from Costa Rica's central bank (BCCR). Other currencies you configure yourself.

  • Split bill, untouched kitchen order

    Sub-tickets per person or per group. The kitchen never finds out about the split — they're already cooking what was ordered.

    100 grams of meat, 30 of cheese, 2 tortillas. You define what each dish consumes and FuturaTap calculates its cost from the current price of your ingredients. When prices change, you recalculate and the margins stay current.

What we get asked the most.

What happens if the internet goes down?
Nothing goes down. The tablets talk to a server living inside your restaurant. Without internet they keep taking orders, charging, and opening/closing the register normally. When the signal returns, it syncs on its own with the cloud.
Do I need to buy specific hardware?
None. We rent you the equipment — tablets and the local server — as part of the service. If something breaks, we replace it. No model research, no purchases, no hardware vendors to chase. You focus on the restaurant, we handle the hardware.
Does it work in colones and dollars?
Yes, multi-currency native. The USD exchange rate syncs daily from Costa Rica's central bank (BCCR) — no manual upkeep. For other currencies (euros, etc.) you set the rate yourself. At cash close, the report shows the breakdown by currency.
Does it integrate with Hacienda for electronic invoicing?
Not yet. It's on our roadmap and we're actively building it. For now you can keep using your current invoicing solution in parallel.
